The Gig:

The Administrative Team Assistant will be a key member of the team and major support for this business unit and its’ leadership group. Responsibilities of this role will focus on assisting members of the Hotel Operations team through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication, ensuring the efficient operation of the department.  

This position is also a key support for the office and facilities department.  Front desk and back-of-house support.

This gig is based at VVHQ - our swanky Virgin Voyages Head Office in Plantation, FL 

What You'll Be Up To:

  • Provide general administrative and clerical support to the VTS department

  • Organize a team calendar and schedule meetings and appointments

  • Strong computer and Internet research skills

  • Ability to work well with all levels of internal management and team members, as well as outside clients and vendors

  • Sensitivity to confidentiality

  • Support the sales and marketing team with organization on all key events

  • Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, and forms

  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports

  • Develop and maintain digital and offline filing systems

  • Maintain company values, rules, policies and procedures are met to fulfill the company missions, as well as productive relationships with customers and vendors

  • Responsible for special tasks requested by management and/or supervisor

  • Other duties as assigned

SuperPowers Required

  • 1–3 years of experience in an administrative, front desk, or customer service role

  • Proficiency in Google Suite and office technology

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively

  • Friendly, professional demeanor with a customer-service mindset

  • Ability to work independently and problem-solve in a dynamic environment
