As an Video Editor - Ads, you will be reporting directly to the Lead Ad Developer. Responsible for creating ad cuts from videos selected by either you or the Lead Ad Developer. Day-to day responsibilities include; reviewing content, cutting video ads (different versions), creating continuity assets, verifying KPIs.
Together along with the Content Team, you will deliver a finished product that you will publish for testing.
Lastly, cutting ads for a specific brand will mean respecting certain guidelines. Brand guidelines will be established and followed.
What you'll be doing:
- Reviewing each scene that is being used for an ad of their creation
- Creating video sequences using Adobe Premiere/After Effects, including editing and color correction – (Generate 2-3 high-quality video ads per week)++
- Creating landing page assets (video/image) for their ads
- Providing feedback on the scenes that were assigned
- Releasing ads to the Sales team, publishing ads through in-house tool
- Performing basic image retouching and manipulating using Photoshop
- Creating pre-roll videos with sound and music as requested.
What you'll need to be successful:
Must haves:
- 2+ years of professional experience in video editing
- College diploma in a related field
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Premiere/After Effects
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
- Basic knowledge of web-technologies (HTML, CSS, PHP)
- Ability to work with analytics data and learn new things
- Genuine interest in marketing and advertising
- Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
