As our Accounts Receivable Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining accounts receivable customer files.
Every day you will be communicating and following up with customers via email, handling reporting in Oracle, performing data entry, and working on projects using Excel.
To thrive in this role, you must have prior experience with accounts receivable, strong follow-up and communication skills, high accuracy and attention to detail, intermediate experience in using MS Excel, and the ability to analyze and solve problems. The Accounts Receivable Associate will report directly to the Accounts Receivable Manager.
Here’s what you will experience working as an Accounts Receivable Associate:
- Maintain accounts receivable customer files, including set-up of new customers
- Responsible for issuance of customer invoices
- Maintains and provides reporting on outstanding Accounts Receivables balances as required
- Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, customer service departments, and customers
- Manage cash application making sure all cash receipts are applied properly and timely
- Compile information as needed to assist with monthly and annual financial reporting obligations
- Assist with the monthly and yearly close process
- Assist in reconciling accounts on a timely basis
- Responding to inquiries from customers
Required Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience performing Accounts Receivable responsibilities at public or private organizations
- Must be proficient in Excel including pivot tables, and basic formula, as well as other Microsoft Office applications
- Creative problem solver with outstanding oral and written communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with high degree of accuracy
- High integrity, independent, and individually motivated
- Experience working in a remote environment is a plus
For this US-based position, the base pay range is $43,888.00 - $70,631.44 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.This job is eligible to participate in our annual bonus plan at a target of 5.00%
