About the Team

Finance and accounting at Clari form the backbone of strategic decision-making by employing rigorous analysis, relevant reporting, and sound financial management. We support Clari’s profitable growth and empower every department to optimize their operations in service of running revenue for all B2B companies.


About the Role

Clari’s Accounting Manager will be responsible for a review of global accounts payable and general ledger operations as well as contributions to the month-end close. In this role, you will accurately and timely review vendor invoices and payments, T&E transactions, fixed assets, prepayments and respective balance sheet reconciliations. You will mentor and train team members, and work closely with the internal and external stakeholders to ensure correct and effective financial results. You will report to the Director of Financial Operations in Krakow.


The ideal candidate will always be looking for ways to improve the close and financial processes while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. This role requires a strong work ethic, effective communication skills and the capacity to get things done independently.


This is a hybrid position, which will require the ability to be onsite in our Kraków, Poland office as needed. Candidates must be based in Poland.

Responsibilities

  • Review global vendor invoices and execute payments
  • Oversee and manage the process and accounting of T&E, accruals, prepayments and fixed assets 
  • Prepare and review monthly GL account reconciliations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
  • Analyse the Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss on a monthly basis to identify relationships and drivers of material account fluctuations 
  • Support and review international subsidiaries financial reporting packages 
  • Mentor, train and support junior team members
  • Partner with internal and external accounting, procurement and FP&A teams
  • Support external audits by providing supporting schedules, reconciliations, pulling selections, and interfacing with external auditors, as required
  • Research and conclude on technical accounting matters
  • Lead ad hoc accounting projects and requests, as needed
  • Drive developing, establishing and maintaining accounting policies, process improvements, best practices and procedures in a rapidly growing organization
  • Work with the Director of Financial Operations and Reporting Manager to design and implement controls as new risks are identified

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of accounting experience at a multinational company
  • 2+ years of experience as a people manager
  • Excellent working knowledge of the accounts payable and general ledger processes
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical and presentation skills
  • Ability to self-motivate, adapt to change, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to work independently, yet cooperatively and constructively, in a team environment
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze large sets of data
  • Experience in SaaS space strongly preferred
  • Proficient with NetSuite or similar ERP system preferred
  • Good knowledge of procurement tools like Coupa or Zip and T&E tools like Navan or Egencia preferred
