Capgemini is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Associate to join our team to work for a top 10 US Insurance Carrier.
As an Accounting Associate you will:
- Perform validations of batched financial data against control reports for monthly close cycle that includes both income statement and balance sheet accounts
- Prepare, process, and validate recurring and miscellaneous accounting entries
- Perform account balance reconciliations
- Prepare invoice payments requiring SAP code block mapping
- Coordinate responding to external and internal audit inquiries in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assist with state compliance by filing submissions to states and specific state organizations and/or support this function.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including documenting procedures, approvals, etc.
- Help with project implementation for high performance expectations, business changes, contractual obligations, etc.
