The position requires a finance professional who has the experience of AR Accounting in GBS or shared services organizations showing a combination of operational finance skills particularly in handling Pricing/ Customer Rebates, Invoicing and Revenue Recognition processes, and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and other stakeholders as required.
In the role as Account Receivable - Pricing & Rebates Accountant you will contribute to our purpose of Bringing People Closer.
Your contribution is appreciated and you will:
- Manage the end-to-end rebate process, including calculation, approval, and payment of rebates.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of rebate claims in accordance with company policies and contractual agreements.
- Develop, maintain and adjust rebate provisions based on sales forecasts and historical data to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Generate invoices (excluding Inventory related or other automated invoicing) according to specific deadlines.
- Generate credit notes where required.
- Perform timely month-end closing activities.
- Produce monthly AR Specific financial and management reports.
- Investigate and resolve any irregularities or enquiries.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards related to rebate accounting.
- Handle disputes with customers professionally, effectively and in close collaboration with the internal key account / distribution managers and business finance.
To fulfill the role, we imagine that you have:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
- Couple of years of solid experience working in accounts receivable department across several geographies.
- Prior experience working within multinational or GBS/ SSC organization.
- Great written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to details.
- You have a knowledge and experience of ERP systems D365.
- You are fluent in English (other languages are welcomed).
