Account Executive Team @ Tech9:

 

Mid Market AEs are a central focus of Tech9’s go-to-market engine.

 

You’ll strategically outbound top-tier companies, helping introduce our service offering into new logos, and provide a polished, seamless buying experience for our prospects.

 

You’ll receive hands-on mentorship from Tech9’s leadership team and be a foundational part of building a best-in-class AE organization. Over time, you’ll become an industry expert at the cross-section of custom software development and managed services.

 

Your Primary Focus:

 

Map the custom software development landscape

 

  • Develop & apply a deep understanding of SDLC (software development lifecycle) practices .
  • Understand & engage with our target personas; CTOs, VP of Engineering, and Head of Product.
  • Learn & leverage key differentiators between Tech9’s offerings vs. our competitors.
     

Engage in full cycle selling

 

  • Strategically research & engage (call, email, and social-sell) top-tier mid market companies to convert leads into sales opportunities..
  • Qualify & support potential prospects that interact and show intent with Tech9’s website and marketing assets.
  • Collaborate with leadership on various outbound approaches to instigate thoughtful conversations and create high-quality pipeline that leads to revenue.
  • Learn & leverage various sales enablement tools to efficiently and effectively execute daily prospecting and outreach tasks.
  • Interact and converse with prospects in real world situations; from Tech9 hosted lunch and learns to industry specific events/conferences.
  • Manage your entire pipeline from generation to closure.
     

Collaborate on strategic projects

 

  • As a member of an early-stage GTM team, you’ll work directly with the CRO, VP of Marketing, and other Tech9 Executives on a variety of key initiatives like process building, enablement, and strategic customer outreach.
     

About You:

 

We’re looking for sharp, hardworking, experienced AEs who will solve critical business problems daily and evolve into Tech9’s top Account Executives and future leaders.

 

  • Experience: 4-6 years of full-cycle, B2B sales as a top-performing Account Executive, not including SDR/BDR experience
  • Grit: You aim high and raise the bar for your colleagues. You're not afraid to consistently pick up the phone and take rejection head-on.
  • Coachability: You own your development and become a master of your craft by immersing yourself in the industry.
  • Emotional Intelligence: You can read the room and communicate with impact.
  • Organized: You are reliable and get your work done consistently, while providing a top tier experience for Tech9 prospects.
     

You’re an owner: You’re ready to take on responsibility and consistently own projects that will lead to revenue outcomes.

 

Compensation:

 

Tech9’s OTE range for this position is $180,000-$210,000 OTE, with a $90,000-$110,000 base and a $90,000 to $110,000 variable. This salary range includes a few levels. Your level is based on our assessment of your interview performance and experience, which you can always ask the hiring manager about to understand in more detail. Salary is just one component of Tech9’s total compensation package for employees. Your total rewards package at Tech9 will include medical, HSA contribution, an unlimited PTO policy, and many other region-specific benefits.

Interview Process Overview:

Below you'll find an outline of the interview plan for our Mid Market AE positions. Please note that this is what we expect the process to look like; we may ask you for supplemental information or require an additional step before making a final decision.

  1. Screening and alignment call w/ Jeff (Head of Talent) (15-30 min - phone call or Zoom)
  2. 1st round core interview via HireVue (1 hour - Online Assessment)
  3. 2nd round technical interview w/ Nate (CRO) (1 hour - Zoom or in person)
  4. 3rd round interview w/ Delivery Leadership (1 hour - Zoom)
  5. Final round interview w/ Nate (CRO) and Jeff (Head of Talent) (1 hour - onsite, in person)
